Mango's Muse: Nip/Tuck Moves to California

Tonight is the 90-minute season premier of Nip/Tuck on FX Network. Now we will see how Sean and Christian make it on the other coast. From the previews it seems like they will have their hands full getting a client base started.

I was a little disappointed to see that all the other cast members follow them to LA. I was looking for some new blood this year but that doesn't seem too likely. It will be interesting to see how they introduce the entire cast members move in to the storyline. I thought Sean was moving to get away from his ex, Julia.

Mango's Muse: Closing the book on Damages

Tonight will be the season finale of Damages. This has to be the absolute best show on television right now. I know this means Nip/Tuck will be back on and in their new location, Los Angeles, but I don't know how long I will have to wait to see the next season of Damages!!

Mango's Muse: These are a few of my favorite things...

It has been had to keep up with the majority of good shows for the new TV season. Half the time I find myself trying to figure out what to watch and what to TiVo. There are so many good shows that I want to watch them all, but that doesn't fit into my schedule with work and all.

Mango's Muse: 'The Big Bang Theory' is Classic Comedy

After watching a full week of the new season's offerings I have come to the conclusion that I am not too thrilled with the new shows and I still like that shows I have grown accustomed to over the years. However, one new show stands head over heels above the rest, "The Big Bang Theory" is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen.

Mango's Muse: The Donato Duo Take The Prize

This has been one of the best Big Brothers yet. This season was beyond entertaining and I have watched Big Brother since Big Brother 2. I believe that the Donatos were the reason for the intensity this season. Dick's mouth and Danielle's tease were the best combination of weapons I have ever seen in Big Brother. Everyone in the Big Brother house knew that taking those two to the final three would be certain suicide in the game.

Mango's Muse: Thank Goodness for Owen

I don't pretend to understand the life of fame and fortune or celebrity but it really doesn't seem bad enough to check out permanently. I am a big fan of Owen Wilson. Although he doesn't go for the Academy Award type of roles, he takes on movie roles that allow the audience to just escape with a good laugh for a while. Why he would want to leave us is to hard to imagine.

Mango's Muse: Commemorating the 'King'

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the death of Elvis Aaron Presley, the "King." Yet this day has turned in to a weeklong celebration of his life, music and movies. Memphis is a buzz with an estimated 100,000 visitors this week to immerse themselves in everything Elvis. Some of the events slated for this week include an Elvis convention, an Elvis scrapbooking class, Elvis impersonation contests, a candlelight vigil at Graceland (last night), memorial mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church with spaghetti dinner to follow, and tribute concerts to name a few.

Mango's Muse: Damages is a masterpiece

Sorry I have been away for a while, I have been debating about what to write about lately. I purposely avoided the whole Lindsay Lohan incident late week because -- well, because I am tired of writing about the little starlet wannabes that think they can do whatever they want with no foreseeable consequences. It is pointless to waste anymore ink or computer screen to that topic.

Mango's Muse: Girls Gone Wild, Wild, Wild!!

Back in the day you used to hear about the bad boys of Hollywood. They would get drunk, do drugs, solicit hookers, tear up property, the list goes on and on. But that seems to be a thing of the past. Now the girls are having their turn and it looks like they are trying to put the boys to shame.

Mango's Muse: Posh and Becks Take the U.S. By Storm

Has there been anything else in the news for the past few weeks other than Victoria and David Beckham? It seems everywhere you go you either see television footage and/or print coverage of the Beckham's move to America. He is extremely talented in the soccer arena. She supposedly is a talented singer. Together they are both drop-dead gorgeous and barely a step below British royalty. But I don't know that all the hype was worth the event.
